Response to Admission on social media

I don't really post , but i don't want someone going through all my posts and stuff . And trying to know everything like sites i might visited and people that i may talk to or interact with.And so there should defiantly be limitation and privacy rules.because it not necessary for something to be view and could cause issues.Especially if there fakes accounts or someone you may be friends with say or post something that the person looking through you account might not understand and take the wrong way.

Not split into clearly defined areas

Lots of text and is not seprated and defined into sections.Hard to find information

Not obvious what is clickable

Clicking on the Site ID with the large text you might think it takes you home but it does it takes tou to a whole different page , happen often when clicking on text on site

Good visual hierarchies

Good visual apperence and eye catching design and information , at a quick glance

Low amount of noise

Mostly noisy free and right amount of content shown

Site with conventions

Same design throught site and easy navigation

Split into defined areas

Each topic is squared off into its own catagory and display different news in each topic

obvious what clickable

Has really good content layout and well organized and noticeable what to click

Sites with excessive background noise & busy-ness

Yahoo finance site a lot of extra not related to stock finance ,that cause site to look busy 

Can You Do Better

Emily Elmore artist designer decided that Kansas City needed a new logo , so she created one and received a lot of criticism and more people was in favor of this design. and is suppose to look classic and clean.and resemble the the Kansas City city hall logo found on the doors.I think they pick this design because they liked the design and it was a vote on the design and more people liked the design then didn't.Typeface was chosen to match the fountain brand.Personally I do not like the logo at all because does not fit Kansas City at all and doesn't even has its colors and seems like a random graphic art design and does not repersent anything.

I site is a little to busy and has to much content on it ,especially if you just trying to do a quick web search.

Design Case Study Summary

It's very important to have a updated modern websites , especially if your a big leader in the technology area because you look at as a example like Microsoft. Having a clean , simple but have many features , because if its too simple and does not offer anything outstanding , then visitors will not use you site because it would be to basic. If your site layout is already very popular its best not to change it because you will be fixing something that is not broken , and people will have to try to adapt but may be to frustrating and may look to other site that are easier to use

It's important to get into the mobile web sites because its a growing area and people want to able to access stuff on the go on their mobile devices .
